"We've been so concerned about feeling better about ourselves as a team each time we walk off the field and I think we did that Saturday," Cru head coach Pete Fredenburg said. "As a coach, I really like the mindset of our team. Their expectations are very high and really set themselves to go out and improve every day."

UMHB is 7-0 overall and has a 3-0 mark in American Southwest Conference play on the season following a 63-7 victory over Hardin-Simmons University last Saturday in Abilene. UMHB will return to action with a 1:00 PM home game against Howard Payne University (3-4, 1-2 ASC) this Saturday at Crusader Stadium
