 "Hello central Texas," and thanks for watching! What a dream come true to be the Sports Director at KCEN-TV Channel 6. My journey bringing me to this position has been filled with hard work, a lot of fun, and plenty of "good luck."

I began my career as the Sports Director at Citi-Cable 22 in my native Torrance, California. After four years of "learning the ropes" it was off to North Platte, Nebraska where I spent 2 years as the weekend sports anchor at KNOP television. Also an NBC affiliate KNOP is the second smallest T.V. station in the country but, just like KCEN, it is family owned and operated making it a great place to live and learn.

In June of 2002 I finally got the call that I'd been dreaming of and was hired by KCEN TV as their weekend sports anchor. After nearly four years in that position I was very fortunate, again, to be promoted to my current position of sports director in April of 2006.

I've been around sports all of my life. My father has been the score keeper for the Los Angeles Lakers for the past 45 years. At a very young age I knew that sports was in my blood. I played college baseball and have watched friends advance to play major league baseball, into the NFL and the NBA as well. It's always seemed to me that a job in the sports industry was my calling.

I love living in Central Texas where I spend time with my loving family and play as much golf and softball as time will allow. Thanks for watching our sports segments nightly at 5,6 & 10 and don't hesitate to call or e-mail us to brag about your son, daughter, grandson, granddaughter, great niece, or neighbor.
