Hello, everyone, and thank you for welcoming me to Central Texas. It's a long way from home, but my wife and I have loved it here from the moment we pulled up.

I was born and raised in Los Angeles, but headed north for the college experience. At California State University, Chico I was a journalism major that wrote sports stories for our school's newspaper. I ended up getting a job at the local television station towards the end of my college career and eventually parlayed that into an on-air job.

Three years later, I can already say I've covered a lot things I'd never thought I'd see - including the Terminator becoming governor - but that's what I think makes news such an exciting job. It's a different adventure everyday and sometimes you just never know what's going to happen. But after meeting the wonderful people of Texas, I can say it's my pleasure to have you along for the ride.
