I come to Waco via Grand Junction, Colorado. It was hard leaving the mountains, but I couldn't pass up covering Texas high school football. It's crazy here, I love it!

I grew up in Dubuque, Iowa and graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Journalism and Mass Comm. Upon graduation, I worked in my hometown of Dubuque before the station closed.

I then spent the last year and a half on the Western Slope of Colorado working as a weekend sports anchor, before heading to Texas. It was hard getting use to the humidity again, but I'm glad to be back near the Midwest.

The hospitality has been overwhelming, it reminds me of home. In my free time, I enjoy working out, taking in a movie or hanging out with friends.
