With temperatures soaring, Killeen's Lions Club Park Aquatic Center was the perfect place to cool down.
Families enjoyed the water park, in the water, the only place outdoors where the heat is actually tolerable! This is only the second year the park has been open and the city is offering a special deal to get folks heading out there all summer.
The park has four water slides, 10,000 square feet of pools, spray features, and a bathhouse.
Starting Monday, you can buy a kids' season pass for $50 or an adult pass for $75 and get unlimited access to the water park through the summer.
Last weekend, the city made $28 thousand from entry fees.
