Baylor Law School Dean Emeritus McSwain passes away

Baylor Law School Dean Emeritus Angus McSwain passed away in Waco on Sunday.

Dean McSwain served as dean of the Law School for 19 years, the longest term in the school's history. He was born in 1923 and received a bachelor of science degree from Texas A&M University. He went on to earn his L.L.B. in 1949 from Baylor Law, where he graduated first in his class. He was a professor at Baylor from 1949 to 1965, when he became dean.

Although he officially retired in 1994, he went on to teach until 2008, for a total of 59 years.
