Teenagers with sagging pants are everywhere. One Houston mall is trying to put an end to that trend.
The Greenspoint mall in Houston recently added a "no sagging pants policy" and says security will ask saggy-panted shoppers to pull their pants up. If they refuse, they will be asked to leave.
Private businesses have the right to enforce a dress code as long as the rules do not discriminate by race, religion or gender.
"The rationale is they have a lot of people coming the mall and they have to cater to a lot of concerns, and most people are uncomfortable around people whose pants are halfway down," said legal analyst Joel Androphy.
"I'm going to wear my clothes the way I want to wear them, because I'm buying them. You know you can't tell me how to wear my clothes," said shopper Derrick Johnson.
