Update: The man who reportedly used a store-owned firearm to shoot himself in the head last week died Tuesday shortly after midnight at Scott & White Memorial Hospital.
Police identified the man as 28-year-old Karim Kim Gay.

No word yet on where he got the ammunition.
It happened Friday morning around 11:30 at Guns Galore on South Fort Hood Street.
The man asked the clerk to see the gun, loaded it with his own ammunition and then shot himself.
The ammunition was not from the store.
The man remains in critical condition at Scott and White Hospital.
No one else was injured in the incident.
