An AWOL soldier was arrested Wednesday evening in Killeen. Someone spotted the man at the America's Best Value Inn on South Fort Hood Street. That person believed the man was acting suspiciously and called police.

When officers arrived, they learned the 22-year-old soldier had a warrant out for his arrest on child porn charges.

Police also discovered he was AWOL and was considered armed and dangerous
