Hunt County man indicted on capital murder charges

GREENVILLE (KYTX) -- A Greenville man has been indicted on capital murder charges in the shooting death of his ex-wife, Stella Michelle Ray.

Ray, of Caddo Mills, was shot to death in front of her two children on July 20, 2011. Police say she and Michael Crofford Brown, 32, were locked in a custody dispute over the children when Brown shot and killed her.

Brown remains jailed on a $1.5 million bond.
