(KCEN)- Some of the 29 families of the 29 students injured from the traumatic bus accident Tuesday are now seeking the aid of a Texas law firm.
The Carlson Law Firm, who says they are known for truck accident victim advocacy is accepting clients that were involved in the crash between a Lowe's delivery truck and a Little River Academy school bus Tuesday morning.
The accident happened around 7:30 a.m. at the intersection of FM 93 and Old Highway 95 in Bell County.
29 students and three adults were taken to Scott and White Hospitals. One student remains in serious condition and the bus driver remains in critical condition.
Sr. Trooper Harpin Myers told KCEN Tuesday that the truck was heading southbound on Old Highway 95 when the driver failed to give right of way at the stop sign and collided with the school bus that was traveling westbound on FM 93.
"The Carlson Law Firm has years of experience helping victims of 18 wheeler accidents and bus accidents alike," said managing partner Craig Carlson. "This just happens to be a tragic combination of the two."
Lowe's Hardware issued a statement Wednesday saying, "Our thoughts and our prayers are with everyone affected by this accident as well as their families and we're cooperating with authorities as they conduct their investigation."
