A 12-year-old boy from Vidor is back home after he was injured in a trampoline accident Sunday afternoon.

The accident happened around 5:30 p.m. Sunday on the 100 block of Mill Street.

Police say Everett Williams was jumping on the trampoline with another child when he fell on the ground landing on top of his head.

Police say he was taken by a medical helicopter to Christus Hospital Elizabeth in Beaumont.

Williams has been released from the hospital.

According to investigators, the trampoline did not have a protective net.
