DALLAS (KXAS)- One person is has been taken into custody after three people were found dead inside an east Dallas home Thursday morning.
Investigators arrived at the home on the corner of Peavy Road and Millmar Drive at about 6:30 a.m. and found two women and one man dead from apparent stab wounds.
Officers also located two witnesses inside the home, an adult and a child, safe and in good condition. The witnesses, one of whom called 911, were removed from the home and have been talking with investigators.
Dallas police said a person of interest in the case was taken into custody a short time ago outside of a Taco Bueno in Sachse along Highway 78.
Sgt. Joe Garza, with the Dallas police, did not release the names of the victims or the relationship of the man arrested to the victims. A motive has also not been established.
The home is across the street from Bryan Adams High School, though the incident appears to have no relation to the school or its students.
"This is not something we want our students walking past, but this has nothing to do with the school," said Stan Van Hoozer, Principal of Bryan Adams High School.
The school is not on lock down and students are arriving on time.
The Dallas Police Department is expected to release more information Thursday afternoon.
