(KCEN)- One popular brand of birth control is being recalled because it may not prevent pregnancy.
Pfizer is recalling some 1 million packs of oral contraceptives after discovering a problem that could cause women to take an incorrect daily dosage and increase the risk of pregnancy.
The recall involves Lo/Ovral-28, and 14 lots of generic pills labeled Norgestrel and Ethinyl Estradiol tablets.
The company says the problem was identified and corrected and they've had no reports of any adverse health effects.
