(KCEN)- Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III challenged President Obama to a game of basketball Thursday morning.

RG3 led closing prayers at the national prayer breakfast in Washington, D.C.

When he walked up to the podium Griffin said "Sic em' Bears," and then said he would love to play a game of hoops with the president.

He promised to take it easy on Obama who is nearly twice his age.

"Friendly competition because we wouldn't want anyone to feel like I was trying to hurt you so I wouldn't dunk on you at all," Griffin said.

The Baylor standout is projected to be a top 10 pick in the NFL draft.
