Police say The Smoke Shop in the 3000 block of MLK in Beaumont was robbed by 53-year-old Ronald Smith on Wednesday January 25th at around 3:22 p.m.

Officers say Smith fled on foot as officers attempted to make the arrest. 

Smith was later arrested in the 700 block of Elgie after a warrant was issued for his arrest on Thursday.

Police say he will be charged with aggravated robbery and evading arrest.
