KILLEEN (KCEN)- Five teens were arrested in Killeen after they were caught in the act burglarizing a home Wednesday morning.
It happened around 9:20 a.m. in the 2600 block of Tortuga Lane.
A witness reported hearing loud noises coming from the vacant duplex located at 2610 Tortuga and saw some people inside the home.
When officers arrived they found several people inside and took three 16-year-old boys, a 15-year-old and 15-year-old woman into custody.
All five suspects were taken to the Killeen Police Department Youth Services unit and charged with burglary of a building. They were later released to their parents.
Police are continuing to investigate.
