MCC Baseball Splits With Midland

Waco, TX - The McLennan Highlanders and Midland Chaparrals split today's doubleheader at Bosque River Ballpark.

Midland shutout the Highlanders 1-0 in game one with Thomas Altimont taking the loss on the mound.

The Highlanders bounced back to win game two 7-3. Brett Thornell and Dalton Rodriguez both went 2-3 at the plate to lead MCC. Matt Hilston recorded a double and Brandon Holub picked up the win on the mound.

MCC and Midland will complete the three-game series with a nine-inning game tomorrow at noon.
