Police Arrest Man In Connection To 11 Home Burglaries

COPPERAS COVE (KCEN)- A 24-year-old Killeen man is now in the Coryell County Jail after it was discovered he was connected to 11 residential burglaries in the Copperas Cove area.

Larry Cornelius Davis, 24, was arrested Tuesday in the 2300 block of Terrace Drive in Copperas Cove after he was stopped by police and arrested for an existing warrant.

His car was impounded and during the impound detectives found $3,025 worth of electronics, jewelry, collectibles and checks inside the car.

After an investigation it was determined that he committed 11 home burglaries within Copperas Cove since November 2011.

Three firearms that were stolen from the homes have not been recovered, police say.

Davis is charged with 11 counts of burglary of a habitation, three counts of theft of a firearm, and one charge stealing/receiving stolen checks.

His bond is set at $583,000.
