
SAN ANTONIO (KCEN) -- Funeral arrangements have been made for Baylor student Will Patterson after he was found burned to death Thursday morning.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 13 at the Woodland Baptist Church in San Antonio, according to a statement released by Baylor University.
Patterson's death came as a shock to family and the Baylor community when his body was found burned beyond recognition Thursday morning in the backseat of his car.
The McLennan County Sheriff's Office and the Dallas County Medial Examiner's Office used dental records to confirm Friday the body found was Patterson.
The cause of Patterson's death is still under investigation.
A scholarship fund has been established in honor of Patterson to anyone who wishes to donate. Donations can be sent to The Will Patterson Memorial Scholarship Fund, Baylor University, One Bear Place #97050, Waco, TX 76798-7050.
