TEMPLE (KCEN)- Temple police are searching for two suspects after they allegedly forced their way inside a home and hit the resident several times before leaving.
It happened in the 1200 block of S. 6th St. just before midnight Sunday.
Police say the two men forced their way inside the home, one armed with a gun, and began fighting with the resident. The resident was hit several times by the two suspects.
Another person inside the home called police and the two suspects ran from the home without taking anything.
The resident did not sustain any injuries.
The two suspects are described as black men. They were last seen wearing dark hooded sweatshirts, covered faces and dark pants.
The initial investigation indicates the victim and suspects may be known each other.
