Military Matters: GE To Hire 5,000 Veterans

(KCEN)- Good news for our nation's heroes looking for work.

GE announced Monday it plans to hire 5,000 veterans in the next five years.

The company says it's also teaming up with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce to host hundreds of job fairs for veterans this year.

The company says some of those fairs will offer extra hiring training.

GE currently employs more than 10,000 veterans
