(KCEN)- McLennan County Sheriff's Office has confirmed they have identified Will Patterson in surveillance video purchasing fuel containers and fuel minutes prior the initial call to Eastland Lake Road where he was found dead in the backseat of his Cadillac.
The Sheriff's Office says Patterson's preliminary autopsy report is complete, but the finding for his cause of death is pending.
They say a complete autopsy report will be ready in the next 12 to 18 weeks.
Evidence collected from the scene will be sent to the Texas Fire marshal's Office Lab in Austin.
The Sheriff's Office believes this to be an isolated incident and says there are no signs of foul play.
However, the incident remains under investigation.
