(KCEN)- In a federal court hearing Wednesday, the Texas attorney general has reportedly come to a temporary compromise with minority groups agreeing on the state senate map.

However all parties still haven't worked out a deal for state house and congressional maps, making the April primary election nearly impossible.

Instead the judge says to expect it to be held on May 29 if all sides can come to terms in the near future.
