(KCEN)- A Central Texas woman will spend life in jail after pleading guilty to kidnapping her mother, which lead to the woman's death.

On Monday 20-year-old Gwendolyn Greene admitted to beating her mother, Katherine Greene, with a pipe, tying her up and putting her into the trunk of her car.

With her mother still in the trunk Gwendolyn and her boyfriend, 31-year-old Steven Barker, got into an accident.

The car caught fire killing her mom.

Barker is still awaiting trial for the crime.
