Update: The boil order for Levi Water customers on Foxtrot, Southwinds Drive and County Road 433 has been canceled.
LORENA (KCEN) -- A water boil order has been issued Saturday for residents in areas of Lorena.
Customers of Levi Water Supply living on Southwinds Dr., Foxtrot Rd., and County Rd. 433 experiencing water outages are affected.
A water main leak is to blame for the water shortage and boil order.
The water boil order is expected to be lifted Wednesday, February 22 at 6 p.m.
It's recommended by the TCEQ that customers bring their water to a vigorous, rolling boil for two minutes before consuming. An alternative is to purchase bottled water, or obtain it from a suitable source.
