One person is dead after a truck collided with an 18-wheeler Monday night.
The accident happened around 6 p.m. on Hwy 190 in Rogers, just outside of Temple.
A pickup truck was traveling westbound on the highway when it went into the eastbound lanes and hit an 18-wheeler head-on.
The driver of the pickup was pronounced dead on the scene. The driver of the 18-wheeler was treated at the scene. No one else was injured.
DPS says alcohol may have played a factor in the crash.
"Alcohol and driving don't mix," Bell County DPS Sgt. Don Adams said. "On the wrong side of the road and hit the truck."
