(KCEN) -- Ben & Jerry's is recalling pint containers of its Chocolate Nougat Crunch ice cream.
The recall was announced because the packaging doesn't mention that the fudge covered wafer pieces have been manufactured on shared equipment that processes peanuts.
Consumers who have purchased the ice cream with the affected UPC code and date codes are asked to discard any remaining product and rinse out the pint container.
To find out if you have a container marked with the affected UPC code, you can call Ben & Jerry's customer service department at 877-270-7397.
