Police are no longer referring to this as a hostage situation, they are now calling it an Aggravated Robbery, the suspect had fled before any police showed up.

The suspect is still at large.

We now have a description of the man police are looking for in connection with a robbery that eventually turned into a hostage situation in Killeen. 

The suspect in the robbery and eventual  hostage situation at O'Reilly's Auto parts in Killeen is described as a black male, 6'3 , 250 pounds. He had a covering over his face and was wearing a gray or light blue hoodie.

He confronted two employees at the store while they were opening. One was already in the store, and the other was held up at gun point while he was going into the store. Those two men were taken hostage, but were eventually let go unharmed.

Police say there was a disconnect at one point and believed the suspect was still inside the store, but he had already gotten away.

The hostage situation at O'Reilly Auto Parts in Killeen has ended, but the suspect is still at large.

It happened at the O'Reilly's Auto Parts at 1703 East Central Texas Expressway.

Killeen Police believe a black man was robbing the store at around 9 this morning and then took 2 people hostage.  Those two people were released and when they searched the building the suspect was gone.

190 was shut down from W. S. Young to Trimmier until 11 a.m. in both directions. Police are searching for the suspect.
