As a one man band for KCEN-TV I can't believe that I get paid to tell stories.
After graduating with a journalism degree from Sam Houston State University in May of 2012 I was ready to hit the ground running in central Texas.
A short two years before that, I interned in my hometown of Houston for KHOU where I found out that if I can make a living telling stories I might one day be on TV. Thanks to some friends who taught me how to shoot, edit and report at a municipal access TV station in Fort Bend County I was infected by the bug that allows me to get out of bed every morning and do what I love.
When I'm not shouldering a camera, I like to pretend to be an athlete by trail running so I can fit into my TV clothes. And when I found out that being a rock star wasn't practical, I turned love for guitar into a hobby.
If you know of a story that needs telling or a good pizza place, I'd love to hear from you.
