At midnight Thursday millions across the US were head in to see the Dark Knight Rises, the final installment in Christopher Nolan's Batman re-boot.

Since 6p.m. people were catching up on the previous two batman movies, but what they're really waiting for was Thursday's premiere.

The theater has thee rooms dedicated to the movie, but they have another available if they run out of room

With just a couple of hours to go, people were still making their way in, hoping to get a ticket.

This being the third and final movie in the series, moviegoers are expected to spend 170 to 195-million dollars seeing the flick it's first week out.

Now if that's the case it will be the highest grossed non 3D movie ever.

The Avengers shattered the overall record in its may release, grossing 207 million dollars in it's opening week.

Some critics said that this movie, the Dark Knight Rises, could actually beat that out as well.

That would make this film the highest grossed move of all time.
