(KCEN) -- Four U.S. Marines were arrested after allegedly beating a gay man outside a bar in southern California.
Now the attack is being investigated as a possible hate crime.
It happened at the Silver Fox Bar in Long Beach, California.
One of the Marines reportedly made derogatory remarks to the victim, then the others also joined in.
All four allegedly beat the victim unconscious and also injured two other people.
They were taken to jail then released on bond.
Each of the Marines were serving in their first enlistment at Camp Pendleton.
