(KCEN) -- Nokia's new smartphone was revealed to the world yesterday morning.

The device is the first phone to run on Microsoft's new Windows operating system.

Nokia and Microsoft hope the Lumia 920 will propel them to a bigger share of the smartphone market.

One of its features is a "pure view" camera, which Nokia says compensates for shaky hands and low light, providing sharper images.

The Lumia also has wireless charging capability.
