Gas Prices Continue to Rise, Isaac Partially to Blame

Posted: Updated:

(KCEN) --  We are still paying high prices at the pump, this after gas prices went up an average of eight cents a gallon over the past two weeks.

The Lundberg Survey found that regular gas costs an average of $3.84 a gallon nationwide.

Here in Texas the average is $3.64.

Refinery shutdowns and power outages due to Hurricane Isaac are the main reasons for the jump in price.
