Killeen Liquor Store Robbery Suspect Arrested

(KCEN) -- Killeen police have identified and arrested the man who allegedly broke into several convenience and liquor stores.

The suspect had been caught on security cameras breaking in and stealing from different liquor and convenience stores, most recently, Planet X liquor store.

The suspect would break into the businesses and steal either cigarettes or liquor.

Police investigated until they identified the man in the footage. A man with the same description was also wanted in Mobile, Ala. for robbery.

It was discovered that the suspect was in Copperas Cove so around 3 p.m. on September 7, the U.S. Marshall's Office, Killeen Police officers and the Copperas Cove SWAT Team issued a warrant on the suspect, Carlos Demetrius Juzang, 30.

He was at his home on the 1200 block of Walt Morgan Drive in Copperas Cove. He was arrested and taken to the Copperas Cove Police Department.

Juzang was charged with Burglary of a Building and his bond was set at $100,000. He has been linked to eight other burglaries in the Killeen area.
