(KCEN) -- In Belton the fire department remembered those whose lives were lost September 11.
Today the department honored all victims that lost their lives that day.
They presented a set of firefighter bunker gear and a wreath at the station's flag pole.
That was followed by a moment of silence at exactly 7:46 a.m., the time the attacks began.
One Belton firefighter says 9/11 is the reason he became a firefighter.
The department also set off fire tones in honor of their sacrifice.
