(KCEN) -- The names of two Americans killed at the U.S. Embassy in Libya have now been released by the U.S. State Department.
Tyrone Woods was a Navy SEAL and 20 year military veteran.
He served multiple tours in Iraq and Afghanistan and had worked in the diplomatic security for the State Department for the last two years.
Glen Doherty was also a Navy SEAL and spent eight years as a sniper, also serving tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Doherty's sister said he played a role in the rescue of Army Private Jessica Lynch in 2003.
He was working as a private security contractor in Benghazi.
