
(KCEN) -- Boxing star Muhammad Ali was honored with the Liberty Medal in Philadelphia.
The award recognized him for his long-term service as an advocate for civil rights, religious freedom and other humanitarian causes.
His daughter Leila gave him a kiss and put the medal around his neck.
Past recipients include former President Jimmy Carter, former South African President Nelson Mandela and U2 front man Bono.
