
(KCEN) -- A two-vehicle accident left one man dead in Waco this morning.
At 9:55 a.m. police responded to a wreck at 26th Street and Sanger. A 2006 Chevrolet Malibu and a 2002 Chevrolet pick up truck were involved.
The Malibu, driven by 71-year-old Ross Youngblood, was traveling east on Sanger Avenue when he suffered some type of medical event. Due to this, he ran the stop sign at the intersection and his vehicle was hit by the truck.
The truck was being driven by 58-year-old David Turner.
Youngblood lost vital signs on the scene and was taken to Hillcrest where he was pronounced deceased. The medical staff at Hillcrest believes he suffered a heart attack.
Turner was also taken to Hillcrest, but the extent of his injuries is not known.
