MIDLAND, Texas – Baylor women's tennis sophomore Megan Horter fell
in the second round of competition at the Racquet Club Collegiate Invitational on Friday.
After
downing Penn State freshman Devan McCluskey, 6-3, 6-2, Horter couldn't
get past TCU sophomore Simona Parajova and fell 3-6, 1-6.
"Parajova
is a good player who likes to step in and attack," associate head coach
Alison Ojeda said. "She played offensively a lot better than we did and
was the better player
today. "We are looking forward to getting back to campus, so we can continue to train."
Continuing
preseason play, select Baylor players will travel to the ITA/Riviera
All-American in Pacific Palisades, Calif. from Sept. 29 – Oct. 7.
