Southwest Raising Airfare, Other Airlines To Follow - kcentv.com - KCEN HD - Waco, Temple, and Killeen

(KCEN) --  Airfares are on the rise again with Southwest Airlines leading the way.

According to USA Today Southwest raised fares by $5 each way on about 400 routes.   

Other airlines have now followed suit. 

The founder of FareCompare.com says when Southwest raises fares, other airlines do too. 

He says he's never seen a hike by Southwest that did not stick.
