(KCEN) -- Baylor celebrates breaking ground on their new on-campus football stadium tonight.
The ceremony was held at halftime of the Bear's game against Sam Houston State.
Fans got to watch a video with sketches of what the new 45-thousand seat stadium will look like when it's complete.
Both Baylor's president and athletic director finished off the ceremony by breaking ground with golden shovels.
The project is expected to cost around 250-million-dollars and is scheduled to be completed by the fall of 2014.
