(KCEN) -- A security guard shoots at least four people outside a nightclub near Houston, killing one.
It all started in the parking lot of an after-hours club early this morning.
The guard tells investigators he was walking customers to their cars, when he came under attack.
SGT. Ben Beal of the Harris County Sheriff's office says, "According to the security guard he said he was assaulted by at least three of the patrons. Somebody tried to grab his gun and that's when he pulled out his gun and started shooting."
There's no word on why the guard may have been attacked, he's being treated in a hospital for his injuries.
Investigators expect the case to go before a grand jury.
