(KCEN) -- A farewell took place high above earth today as the three crew members of expedition 32 made their final preparations for their journey back to Earth.
They were seen closing the hatch between the International Space Station and the Soyuz Spacecraft.
They're expected to land somewhere in Kazakhstan.
Yesterday Commander Gennady Padalka handed over control of the ISS to American Suni Williams.
She'll stay behind with two others and work on board until November 12th.
Williams currently holds the record for the longest spaceflight by a woman.
