GALVESTON, TEXAS (KPRC) -- One
teenager is dead and four others are injured after investigators said
their car plunged over a section of the Galveston Seawall.
The accident happened just after 12 a.m. Sunday on the far east end of Seawall Boulevard near 1st Street.
Investigators
said five people were traveling in a 2004 Ford Mustang when it plunged
over the Seawall and into some thick shrubbery below.
One teen died
and the other four people in the car, Aaron Ceballos, 19, Luis Aguirre,
16, Alexis Williamson, 14, and Celeste Plesada, 14, were taken to UTMB
hospital. Aguirre and Williamson were both listed in critical condition.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash. So far, the name of the person who died has not been released.
