Truck and Train Collision Kills One in Fort Worth

(KCEN) -- One person was killed yesterday after a truck was hit by a train in Fort Worth.

It happened just after 7 a.m. near Meacham Airport.

That's where police say the empty coal train was going through an intersection, when the driver of a Dodge Dakota darted through the crossing arms.

But it wasn't quick enough, and the vehicle was hit by the train.

The driver of the truck was killed instantly.
