(KCEN) -- In Dallas, two women were run over by a pickup and left for dead last week.
And police are hoping new dashcam footage will help track the driver down.
It happened on an exit ramp on Highway 67.
The two women were initially pulled over because of a flat tire.
But then a pickup hit the pair and rolled down the embankment onto the highway.
Marteen Reed, her husband and her friend Omega Jones pulled over to change a flat tire.
Reed said she looked up to see a truck driving straight toward her.
She said, "When I turned to look toward the oncoming traffic, I just seen lights. I ran and when I opened my eyes, I was on the ground, on my back, and I just heard my husband screaming."
Reed was released from the hospital with some bumps and bruises, but said Jones is still in the hospital, unable to speak.
Deputies said they believe the truck they are looking for is white with possible damage to the front right side.
