(KCEN) -- A single-vehicle accident occurred around 4 p.m. today on the westbound side of the access road of the loop in Temple near 31 St Street.
Witnesses say a man driving a motorcycle on the access road lost control of his vehicle, flipped over the curb and rolled over several times.
The 50-year-old man was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. First responders found the man on the side of the road.
He was taken to Scott & White with serious injuries.
The two outside lanes of the westbound access road are open again but the two inside lanes are still closed for investigation.
Drivers should take alternate routes if possible.
