(KCEN) -- If we thought the end of summer would bring some lower gas prices, we were wrong.
Gasoline prices are sky high for this time of year.
We usually expect to see a dip in prices towards the end of the summer months but relief seems to be nowhere in sight.
Nationally the average price for a gallon of regular is $3.85.
Here in Texas the average price for a gallon of regular is $3.63.
