(KCEN) -- A bizarre murder case in Los Angeles got even more strange when a taped confession was shown.

David Viens, a southern California chef killed his wife, Dawn.

In a taped interview played in court yesterday, Viens told police he slow cooked her body in boiling water, then dumped it out as kitchen waste.

Viens also told them he cooked his wife for four days until all that was left was her skull and jaw bone.

He is charged with first degree murder.
